Join artist Ali Ferguson for an informal afternoon at The Batsford Gallery to celebrate the launch of her second book Life Stories published by Batsford.

Ali stitches stories of ordinary people and everyday things using handwritten words, vintage materials, personal motifs and a whole lot of heart. This book delves into the three things that most inspire her as a textile artist: collected stuff, words and clothing. Ali shares the stories and thinking processes behind pieces of her work, alongside the techniques that she uses, instructions for making projects and a thoughtful curation of related work from other contemporary textile artists working with similar themes.
